Designed originally for royalty, and never really intended to be put to use. This weapon is made of fine materials and is studded with amiants. Despite its ornamental function this crossbow is a surprisingly light and powerful weapon with good penetration power. Due to the high quality materials used, it is a good deal lighter and less bulky than a regular crossbow. The amiants serve to improve the wielder's mana reserves. This improved version has upgraded mechanisms which accelerates projectiles to hit the opponent harder and more accurately. Dwarves have the reputation for recklessly charging into battle with their large axes, screaming at the top of there lungs, hacking everything in their way to pieces. Unlike most of his clansmen, a dwarf by the name of Bouveg from the Clan of the Irondarts was an exception. He was small in stature and not blessed with huge muscles. He had to find a way to be as successful in battle as all of his other clansmen. Using his crossbow he could hit almost any target, no matter how far away it was. As his success was discovered by the leaders of the Irondart clan, he was encouraged to build these weapons for others. This made Bouveg Irondart rich and famous among his people. Bouveg died a natural death and most people think that he was one of the luckiest Dwarves who ever lived.
